Ever hit the road and realized that your smartphone or tablet does not have enough energy left in its battery reserves in order to last the distance? That can be quite a bummer, especially when you need to get that all important email sent out on your smartphone, or to be able to pull a particular document from your cloud storage service over the tablet. Of course, it has become second nature to many of us to charge our power hungry devices each evening before we retire for the night, but there are some of the more hectic times in our lives when we forget to do so, only to have that tinge of regret in the morning when we wake up. Paick intends to do away with that by introducing the Noble at CES next year, where this extremely slim mobile power pack for your portable devices measures just 0.5” thin, whick packing in a whopping 6,000mAh of juice.
Being so thin and yet not larger than your average wallet, it is the ideal tool for business professionals to tote around in their back pocket or bag. Sporting an intelligent pop up, dust-proof dual USB and a single microUSB slot that caters for a range of smartphones, you will not be able to find any other kind of portable power packs at such a slim form factor. Not only that, the asking price of $49.99 a pop is definitely within the financial comfort zone for many.
The battery used in the Noble would be a Li-polymer battery, which is touted to be more stable as well as safer compared to Li-ion batteries. The Noble will play nice with the likes of the iPhone 5, 5C, 5S, Samsung Galaxy, HTC, Android phones, tablets and majority of USB devices out there, holding enough juice to fully charge your iPhone up to three times, a Galaxy phone twice, or an iPad once.
